A NEW HOME! All in just a few short steps! This is how it works:

STEP ONE: INTRODUCTIONS

We want to get to know you and we want you to learn all about us. Please tell us all about yourself, your family, and your housing needs for today as well as in the near future. Maybe you have a special talent in cooking or crafts and need the space in your new home to pursue those interests. A new baby coming or planned? Do you want a larger family room or maybe bedroom space is more important. Let’s get together and chit chat about what you really want. Believe us when we say we listen!

STEP TWO: PRE- QUALIFICATION

It’s as easy as it looks on the pre-qualification form. Just fill in the blanks with the required information on our simple one page pre-qualification form and then sit back and let us go to work for you. We will fax your signed form straight off to our mortgage brokers who will dive right in. They will tell us the amount of home buying power your good credit history has earned you. The process is fast and painless and once we hear from the broker you are sailing on your way to step three. WAIT! What if you don’t qualify? Well relax because our mortgage representative will meet with you personally and let you know what steps you can take to qualify at a later date or even with a different program.

STEP THREE: SELECTING YOUR HOME

Your new friends at Steve Fields Homes will present you with floor plans to choose from based on your pre-qualification and the housing needs that you’ve shared with us already. This approach is unique in that we try and match you up with the floor plan that best meets your needs and budget. We care about how you feel about your new home down the road and so we will never try and get you to buy a home that will stretch your budget to the limit. Let’s face it you need something left over every month to PLAY with! When you have made your model selection and any extras you may want in your new home, our staff will prepare a sales contract. Once you have been pre-approved by the mortgage company, we begin our search for your perfect lot. Now the only thing left to do is make your color and material selections. This is really the fun part and we have made it fool proof to help you out. All our color groups have been professionally coordinated so you are assured that everything will match beautifully. A WORD ABOUT CONSTRUCTION

During the construction process we encourage you to keep in close touch with our staff. Please ask questions. There is never a question too small. We want you to know everything there is to know about what goes into your house. We encourage you to take pictures. The building process changes the shape of your house from dirt to walls to roof very quickly and you will want to remember it when all is done. The before and after shots will be something that will amaze you the day you move in.
